Privacy Policy

The short version
- We never sell or rent your information, and we don't show you ads.
- We only email you sign-in links and messages about your account. No marketing spam.
- Your numbers are yours. You can erase them or delete your account any time.
What we collect
- Your email address, so you can sign in. If you use "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email and profile picture with us. We use them only to sign you in.
- What you add to the app: sales, costs, products, monthly bills, your business name and settings.
- Receipts and order emails you choose to send. They're sent to our AI provider to read the amount, date and description, and only what it reads is saved as an entry.
- Sales or shipping files you import (from Etsy, Shopify, Amazon and others). The file is read in your browser. Only its column names and a few shortened sample rows go to our AI provider, so it can tell which column is which. We save the sales and costs it finds, not the file. Buyer names and addresses aren't saved.
- Payment details if you go Pro. These are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Anonymous visit counts: the page you're on, the site you came from, your country and device type, with a random ID kept in your browser. No IP address, name or email is stored with these.
Who helps us run Profit Pop
These companies handle data only to provide their service to us:
- Supabase: stores your account and entries.
- Vercel: hosts the website.
- Anthropic: reads receipts, order emails and typed notes. Under its API terms, it doesn't train its models on this data.
- Stripe: handles Pro payments.
- Google: only if you choose "Continue with Google".
- Our email provider: delivers sign-in emails.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
The community board
It's off unless you turn it on. If you do, other people see your numbers with no name or email attached. You can turn it off any time.
Your choices
- Erase your entries: Account → Start over.
- Delete your account or get a copy of your data: email profitpopapp.help@gmail.com from the address you sign in with.
- Cancel Pro: Account → Manage billing or cancel.
Keeping it safe
Data is sent over encrypted connections, and each account can only read its own entries. No system is perfect, so if something ever goes wrong we'll tell you.
Kids
Profit Pop is for adults running a business. It isn't meant for anyone under 16.
